Hi there! Thanks for showing up here.
Yes, how you put it sums it up well:
What I would like to achieve is a (in best case seamless) transition from my [Sozi presentation] to [D3js chart].
Or the other way round... I could also start with D3js and then continue with Sozi Slideshow.
workaround #1 'notech': Prepare two open browsertabs and switch (nah...)
workaround #2 'lotech': start with my D3js, place on that page a HTML Link onto the Sozi Slideshow (but no transition possible then)
Or... could this work?
1) Prepare Sozi Slideshow
2) include empty Frame, remember frame-ID
3) save Sozi html
4) Navigate in Sozi html to the frame-ID
5) hardcode the D3js there, means replacing this part provided by sozi
This would mean, that the 'call' for the D3js part would interrupt the <svg> </svg> in the html body section, right? Could that work AT ALL?
I'm not sure how to 'set up' / 'prime' (sorry, missing Syntax - no web developer) the D3js before the <svg> so that all the definitions are made before the Frame-ID is being called.
Probably I will try 1) to 5) tomorrow again, just tough as I'm not familiar with the Syntax, nor coding in general.
I'm happy to spend some hours on this, but if somebody could give me a clue forehand, IF this COULD be achievable?
